Meet Acrylic Design at Shop! MarketPlace 2024

Acrylic Design Associates is pleased to be attending Shop! MarketPlace April 9-11 in Cincinnati. Held this year at the Duke Energy Center in Cincinnati, Ohio, Shop! MarketPlace brings together retail designers, manufacturers and suppliers for three days of education and networking.
Acrylic Design will be attending as part of the Taylor exhibit in booth 316. Together with colleagues from our parent company, Acrylic Design will showcase innovative techniques and examples that bring big brand ideas to life. Here’s some of what you can expect:
- Explore retail displays made from Recrylic® – the world’s only line of certified recycled acrylic. Recrylic looks, performs and costs the same as virgin acrylic, but cuts carbon emissions by 90%.
- Get a free sample of Recrylic by stopping by the booth.
- For those not interested in collecting samples, we have a great option to do some good, as well. For every attendee who visits our booth, we will make a charitable contribution via the Givsly app. If just 100 attendees swing by, we can make a significant contribution for a worthy cause.
After visiting our booth, jump over to the Ideation Retail Challenge station to see a life-size Aveda pop-up store. The store is the winning entry from October’s Shop! Ideation Retail Challenge competition – now brought to life at MarketPlace.
The Aveda shop’s entrance is made entirely from Recrylic – with an estimated carbon savings of approximately 2.2 tons of CO2 emissions – just from this one installation. If rolled out across 50 locations, for example, the savings would grow to 111 tons of CO2 emissions avoided – the equivalent of taking 22 cars off the road for a year. MarketPlace also will host the OMA Awards Showcase along with the Shop! Design and Global Awards. Together the three programs celebrate and share some of the past year’s top examples of retail design.
