Acrylic Design Associates is an industry leader in providing products and solutions to our clients to better manage our finite natural resources. Our processes, material selection, and knowledge base provide the cornerstone for sustainable product design which allows our clients to advance their own goals and initiatives of environmental management and certification.

Our EnviroDesign Program is based on the development and continued improvement of these core categories: Materials, Design, Processes, and Compliance Management.

EnviroDesign Materials Program

With our Materials Program, we offer the widest range of sustainable materials in the industry. Everything from acrylic and wood to the inks used in our Digital Printing department. We continuously seek to improve our efficiencies and offer products with better value and less environmental impact.

EnviroPlast	Acrylic, PETG, ABS, Styrene, Polyethylene, Polypropylene	Available in recycled content ranging from 25% to 100% Post Consumer Content. 100% recyclable in established reclamation streams.

EnviroCore	Wood, Metal, Laminates	Choose from certified approved woods that are CARB, FSC or SFI certified with (NAUF) , metal with high Post Consumer recycled content, and readily reclaimable material such as aluminum and steel.

EnviroFinish	Painting, Metal Finishing, Hardware, Ink	New products are now available that provide safer and healthier finishes such as Chromium-free plating and powder coating. We offer a wide range of low VOC and Greenguard certified tapes, sealants and inks. Our hardware selection offers a wide array of recycled and recyclable materials.

EnviroMedia	Foamboard, Fabric, WoodFiber Board, Biograph, Corrugated, Cardstock, Styrene	In addition to our fixture materials we offer unique and environmentally friendly products in our Graphics and POP division. The Biograph line is an agri-based sheet that is compostable and biodegradable. Our corrugated and card stocks offer 100% Post Consumer content. Many of our fabric and board stocks are manufactured from over 90% Post Consumer material.

EnviroDesign Design and Process Program

With our Process and Design Program we offer:

EnviroDesign: Process and Design: This multi-point system analyzes each product design to provide ideas or alternatives that integrate sustainable methodologies. Life cycle assessments, materials, and impact are all considered.

EnviroDesign: Packaging and Logistics: As part of our design function we
engineer each package for minimal environmental impact. This includes recycled content and waste flow. We regularly audit our transportation vendors to ensure best shipment practices including fleet fuel efficiencies, distances, and backhauling.

EnviroDesign: Production and Facilities Management: All aspects of our production practices are guided by our commitment to resource management, reduction, and safety.

•	All facilities utilize the latest technologies in energy consumption. This includes the use of skylights, T8 fluorescent lighting, and regulated energy on our machinery.
•	Heating systems are modified to reclaim and reuse machine generated heat.
•	Waste management and recycling systems are utilized throughout all manufacturing and corporate office facilities.
•	Over 90% of plastics, metal, and wood products are recycled.
•	Production methodologies utilize optimization of material technologies and lean practices.
